Creating an Account

To use certain features, you must create an account by providing:

• Accurate profile information

We use passwordless authentication via One-Time Passwords (OTP) sent to your email or app-generated codes for secure login.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Security

You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Any content posted or actions taken through your account

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

You Agree To

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Provide accurate information about your bikes and components
• Respect the intellectual property rights of others
• Use the Service in a manner that does not interfere with other users' use

You Agree NOT To

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent affiliation with any entity
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any code that could harm the Service or users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems
• Scrape, spider, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users
• Use the Service to transmit spam, chain letters, or unsolicited communications
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Remove, circumvent, or disable any security features or access controls
• Use the Service in any way that could damage our reputation or violate third-party rights
• Abuse the in-app AI assistant — including attempting to bypass per-plan rate limits, generating content unrelated to managing your gear, or attempting to extract our system prompts, internal instructions, or other users' data

No Warranty on Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, WatchMyBike:

• Is a tracking tool based on data you provide or sync from Strava
• Cannot guarantee the accuracy of component wear calculations
• Cannot predict component failures with certainty
• Provides replacement alerts as general guidance, not professional advice
• Provides the in-app AI assistant as a convenience tool. AI-generated answers and any actions it takes on your behalf may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing destructive actions (deletes, transfers) before confirming them, and for verifying any safety-related advice with a qualified professional.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Inspecting your bike components regularly
• Making maintenance and replacement decisions
• Consulting professional bike mechanics when needed
• Not relying solely on WatchMyBike for safety-critical decisions

Component tracking is a tool to assist you, not a replacement for proper bike maintenance and professional inspection.

Service "AS IS"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRACKMYGEAR.BIKE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Damages resulting from component failures, bike accidents, or injuries
• Damages resulting from third-party services (including Strava)

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS (CURRENTLY ZERO).
