You can add a bike at any time from the Bikes section.
Steps
- Click Bikes in the main navigation.
- Click Add Bike.
- Fill in the bike details:
- Name — a nickname (e.g. "Road Racer", "Mountain Beast").
- Make — manufacturer (e.g. Trek, Specialized, Canyon).
- Model — bike model (e.g. Domane SL7, Stumpjumper).
- Year — model year, picked from a dropdown.
- Type — Road, Mountain, Gravel, Urban, Triathlon, Cyclocross,
Hybrid, Indoor, Commuter, E-Bike, Time Trial, Touring, BMX, or
Other. The Indoor type unlocks per-bike indoor-ride wear
filtering for components. - Status — Current (actively used), Wishlist (planned purchase),
or Retired (no longer in use).
- Save the bike.
- If you've already connected Strava (Settings → Strava), open the
bike's edit page or visit Bikes → Strava Gear to link it to a
Strava gear entry for automatic distance tracking. See
Connect Strava.
What information should I track?
The minimum is make, model, and type — that's enough to start tracking
components. To get more value out of WatchMy.bike:
- Purchase details — date acquired and price (cost tracking is an
Alloy/Carbon feature). - Links — manufacturer page, purchase receipt, review articles.
- Notes — frame size, custom modifications, special features.
- Photos — show your bike on your public profile.
The more details you add, the easier it is to track your investment and
make informed upgrade decisions.
Bike limits per plan
The number of bikes you can add depends on your plan — see
Pricing tiers.
