Once you've signed up, a quick five-step onboarding gets you
tracking in a few minutes. The steps below mirror the in-app
onboarding flow at /onboarding:
1. Sign in
Use email, Google, Facebook, or Apple. See Create your account
if you haven't signed up yet.
2. Add your bike
Go to Bikes → Add Bike and fill in:
- Name — a nickname (e.g. "Road Racer", "Mountain Beast").
- Make — manufacturer (e.g. Trek, Specialized, Canyon).
- Model — bike model (e.g. Domane SL7, Stumpjumper).
- Year — model year, picked from a dropdown.
- Type — Road, Mountain, Gravel, Urban, Indoor, E-Bike, and more.
See the full list in Add a new bike. - Status — Current, Wishlist, or Retired.
Once Strava is connected (Settings → Strava), you can link this
bike to a Strava gear entry so distances sync automatically.
3. Track components
On your bike's page, add components (chain, cassette, tires, brake pads,
…). Set a maintenance interval for
each one and we'll alert you when it's time for service.
4. Ride
If your bike is linked to Strava, distances update in near-real
time via the Strava webhook (the cron also runs every 6 hours as a
safety net). Otherwise, edit the bike to update its odometer
manually.
5. Share (optional)
When you're ready, publish your profile and any bikes you want to
show off — see
Share your profile and bikes.
Common next steps
- Connect Strava for hands-off
tracking. - Set up service intervals.
- Pick a subscription plan if you have
more than three bikes.
